Release of Liability
To: The University of British Columbia, including the UBC Ski and Board Club of the AMS

I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS RENTAL OF GEAR, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.

In consideration of permitting me to rent this gear (skis, snowboards, ski boots, snowboard boots, or ski poles), I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:

(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: UBC Ski and Board Club of the AMS, The University of British Columbia, associated officers, sponsors, etc.

(B) INDEMNIFY , HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in
paragraph A from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in the activity for which the rented gear is used for, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.

(C) I understand that gear rented must be returned on time, in the same condition as rented out. It is the renter's responsibility to document the condition of the gear before renting it out. If gear is returned damaged, fees (ranging from $10- entire deposit amount), may be charged. Late fees will be charged for late returns: starting at $60 for one week late, +$20 each week thereafter. If you are unable to return on time please communicate with us before gear
hours.

AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN
FREE WILL.
