The gear rental process
STEP ONE: ACQUISITION OF SWAG
We offer a variety of sizes across our range of gear to support and many shredders hitting the slopes as possible. Remember that the most important thing is fit. Check out our sizing form and example tables to make sure you get the right size shwag.
If you need help figuring out your sizing, we can assess you when you pull up to the gear room under the nest (Life Building Room 003) for your rentals!
Remember to bring $$CASH$$ for your deposit! Rentals are free but require a deposit for safety.
200$ deposit for a full kit (boots, skis/board, poles)!

STEP THREE: RETURN THE SWAG
After you've hit the slopes with your gear, bring it all on back to the very same gear room during gear hours to get your deposit back. If you bring your gear back to the next session (for example, rent Wednesday, bring it back Monday) it's TOTALLY FREEEEEEE and if you want to keep it a little longer, its 40 buckaroos per gear rental day missed. This is due to limited supplies - we want to make sure everyone has a chance to use our gear so we don't do long-term rentals.

Remember - gear rentals are FREE for members (banggggg) but that deposit coming fully back to you is dependent upon the gear being returned in the same condition it was rented out in. We get that stuff happens, but respect the kits.

Q: Can I return and pick up gear outside of your rental hours? ​
A: Unfortunately, since we are an entirely student run organization, we can not offer any other gear rental hours than the ones we post. It is your responsibility to make it these gear hours to pick and up and return in a timely manner. We are students and we have lots of responsibilities outside of gear rentals!

Q: What if I become sick and can't make it to the gear hours to return my gear? ​
A: Send us a DM with a proof of illness and we will work with you on when you can return the gear without having to pay extra. Talk to us! We are (semi)reasonable people and understand that shit happens!

Q: If I rent on Monday, will I incur a fee when I return the next Monday? ​
A: Yes! It will be $40 if you return on the next week Monday, and $80 if you return the next week Wednesday. Check out above for pricing.

Q: Where does the money you collect as fees go? ​
A: We are a fully student run not for profit organization. All of the money that we collect as gear rental fees from you guys returning the gear either damaged or late goes directly back into the program for maintenance and new gear!

Q: Are you guys open during reading and Christmas breaks?​
A: Since we are students, there are no gear rental hours during breaks. However, if you would like to rent gear for the break, you can rent at the last gear rental hours before break and return at the next rentals hours after break for a small cost.
